1. Information We Collect
Promptlier is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information and only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Local storage data: Your prompts, theme preference, language preference, and Pro license key are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share a prompt via URL.
- Payment information: When you purchase a Pro subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Creem.io. We do not receive, store, or process your credit card details or billing information.
- Usage data: We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, or cookies to monitor your behavior on the site.
2. How We Use Your Information
Since we collect virtually no personal data, our use is extremely limited:
- Local storage data is used solely to load your saved prompts and preferences when you return to the site.
- Your Pro license key is sent to our server solely to verify its validity; it is not stored server-side.
- We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties.
3. Data Sharing & Sharing Links
When you use the comparison feature, your prompts are encoded into the URL via JavaScript. This data is not stored on any server — it exists only in the URL fragment. Anyone with the URL can view the prompts you shared. You should avoid sharing sensitive information via this feature.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Creem.io — Payment processing for Pro subscriptions. When purchasing, you are subject to Creem.io's privacy policy and terms of service.
- Vercel — Hosting provider. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps) as part of normal operation.
5. Cookies
Promptlier does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes. No third-party cookies are set by our service.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
All your prompt data is stored locally in your browser. Clearing your browser's localStorage or site data will immediately remove all Promptlier-related data from that device. We do not maintain any server-side databases containing user content. If you cancel your Pro subscription, your license key will be deactivated, but your locally stored prompts remain unaffected.
7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data. Since we store almost no personal data on our servers, there is little to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us and we will address them promptly.
